| So, i'm getting a tattoo when i'm 18. Mum got one today, and it looks really nice. It's the Japanese kanji for love, and it looks great. I'm getting the zodiac symbol thing for my sign; the Pisces 'H' thing. It's silver with green vines wrapped around it. I might have the 'H' done in baby or auqa blue though. My ex, Alex, is going with me, and he said he'd get one to. Also said he's pay for it too, but I said we'd have to see.
So, not much else has happened, except I have cousins here for a week. Cousins that i've nver met before in my life. They're kind of cool, but they're dorks, just like the rest of my family. We all went up to Helen and they all got airbrush kanji tattoos, and they liked them so much that they decided to get real ones, and they bought my mom one.
Not much else has happened though....so, yeah. Talk to you all later!

| So nothing new has happened. Cept that Band practice has started again, but that's not really news, now is it? *Shrugs* My life sucks right about now. Cameron hasn't e-mailed me in about, oh, three months maybe. I haven't talked to Whitney; wrote a card to Whitney, who hasn't written back. Also, those damn bitches at work (aka the Managers) have been giving me more hours so i have to put up with them more often and for longer periods of time. Had to mow the lawn this morning, which wasn't that bad, but it was all hot and icky outside...bleh. So, i'm going to see X-3 with the gang tonight, so life isn't all that bad I guess. OH!!! Forgot that I saw RENT last...Friday. Had to think there for a minute. It was fucking awesome!!! Well...a bientot (later).

| So...today is the two year anniversary of my braces....wuppee....so...my cat passed away last Thursday, and it's just now sinking in that he's gone. I've had him since I was 5 years old, and I had always planned on taking him to college with me. Now, I guess I can't, huh? My mom did say that I could get a kitten, if Suzy behaved around it, but, it still wont be my Mitty-man. I've lost ttwo pets now...two that were mine anyways. Well...life is ok other than that. Took the AP Chem exam the 10th; failed miserably prolly. Well....that's about it. Oh, the band banquet was last night. Boring. Ecpt the bro got the outstanding Freshman's award. He is officially Asher's freshman pet. lol. Well...night all
Bon nuit,

| So my week has gone very well. I didn't make drum major, but I did get clarinet section leader, which I am very proud of that position. Though I have heard through the grape vine that a couple of the memebers of that line are pissed because I got the position, and all I ask is "Why?" Why are those two people mad that I got the position? Do they not like me? Well, if that's the case, i'm sorry, but I wont step down from my position just becasue you don't like me. All I want is to help my section shine, and be the best it can be, and that's exactly what I plan on accomplishing this year. So if you don't like the way I run my section, tell me...i'll change the way I run it. If you have ideas, tell me. I want to know them, and i'll listen. I can't make promises that I know I can't keep...it just doesn't bode well with me. But I can promise all of you marching clarinetists that I will try my best to make our section the best in the band. I wont play favorites...I refuse to do that, beings as it goes against all of my values as an honourable person. I wont work you like dogs either (as I have heard that some people believe I will). All I ask is that you at least put some effort into this season. I don't expect any of you to work harder than I work myself, though I would love it if you went over and beyond 100%. We all have our days where we don't want to do anything except be lazy, and I understand this. All I ask is that on these days, just a little effort will suffice, but any other time, I ask for more. I hope all of my clarinest this season understand where i'm coming from and respect my decisions.
Other than these concerns, I can tell this is going to be a wonderful marching season! We all have lots to work towards, such as Bands of America and our predicted over night trip/competion. Well....have a wonderful rest of week everyone!
